You are welcome as a guest fisherman. Permits can be obtained on presentation of your valid annual fishing licence.

Lakes and rivers: The Werra from the estuary of the Frieda downstream up to km 39, where the Werra, coming from the north-east, borders on the railway, including the northern branch and the Harlache in the district of Eschwege – length approx. 17 km.
Fish: Eels, river and rainbow trouts, whitings, carps, tenches, perches, barbels, and pikes
Lakes and rivers: “Lake Werratal”, at present approx. 90 ha, situated opposite of the Leuchtberg, south of the B249 between Eschwege and Schwebda
Fish: Pikes, pike perches, eels, carps, tenches, roaches, and rudds – a well-stocked lake.
