In winter, Frau Holle visibly spares no effort in shaking up the duvets in the nature reserve on her local mountain, the Hohe Meißner (754m), to enable you devoting yourself to winter delight in the snow: a well-tracked trail network for cross-country skiing, small downhill slopes for skiers, magnificent toboggan slopes, winter hikes, or just little walks with stop for refreshment and distant views.
